According to statistics of China's customs, the country's exports of hot rolled coils (HRC) and sheets totaled 491,474 tons in May. The daily output was at 15,854 tons, falling by 2.8% from a month ago and decreasing by 14.6% year on year.
In May, the country's exports of cold rolled coils and sheets totaled 354,486 tons. The daily output was at 11,435 tons, decreasing by 10.3% from the previous month and falling by 15.1% year on year.
In the first five months of this year, China's exports of HRC and sheets amounted to 2.35 million tons, rising by 2.5%; those of CRC and sheets were at 1.62 million tons, increasing by 10.9%, both compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
